How to uninstall

Uninstalling A Better Finder Rename is simple.

Just go to the Applications folder, drag the application icon to the Trash, and empty it.

This is probably sufficient for the vast majority of users, but if you want to be 100% thorough:

Optionally remove preferences file

1. In Finder, hold down the Option key and click the Go menu in the menu bar. The Library item appears only while Option is held.
2. With Option still held, select Library. This opens ~/Library (your user’s Library folder).
3. Open the Preferences folder inside it.
4. Drag the net.publicspace.abfr12.plist file into the Trash

Optionally remove Application Support folder

1. In Finder, hold down the Option key and click the Go menu in the menu bar. The Library item appears only while Option is held.
2. With Option still held, select Library. This opens ~/Library (your user’s Library folder).
3. Open the Application Support folder inside it.
4. Drag the A Better Finder Rename 12 folder into the Trash

Note that this will delete all your presets if you have created any.
